PROBLEM SUMMARY |
: |
Worn pump diffuser |
| |
SOLUTION |
: |
Devcon’s Titanium Putty 10760 was used to rebuild the worn missing metal on this diffuser. The surface was sandblasted to a SP5 white metal finish and chemically cleaned using Devcon’s Cleaner Blend 300 19510. Titanium Putty was applied and shaped using a putty knife. A coat of Devcon’s Brushable Ceramic 11765 (Blue) was applied to encapsulate the repaired areas and provide a smooth protective barrier against corrosion and erosion. |

PROBLEM SUMMARY |
: |
Worn Corroded and eroded cooling water system |
| |
SOLUTION |
: |
Devcon’s Ceramic Repair Putty 11700 and Brushable Ceramic 11760 (Red) and 11765 (Blue) was used to rebuild this multi-stage cooling water system. The surface area was sandblasted to a SP5 white metal finish and chemically cleaned using Devcon’s Cleaner Blend 300 19510. A primer coat of Brushable Ceramic Red was applied. After one hours time Ceramic Repair Putty was applied to fill worn areas deeper than 3 mm. The Ceramic Repair Putty was smoothed using a paint brush and MEK solution. After one hours time a final coat of Brushable Ceramic Blue was applied to provide a smooth protective barrier against corrosion, abrasion and erosion. |

PROBLEM SUMMARY |
: |
Corroded storage tanks |
| |
SOLUTION |
: |
Devcon’s Titanium Putty 10760, Brushable Ceramic 11760 (Red) and 11765 (Blue) was used to resurface the exterior surfaces of these storage tanks. The surface area was sandblasted to a SP5 white metal finish and chemically cleaned using Devcon’s Cleaner Blend 300 19510. Titanium Putty was applied to rebuild areas eroded deeper than 3 mm. After one hours time two coats of Brushable Ceramic Red and Blue were applied to provide a protective barrier against corrosion. |
