Pulp and Paper   Petrochemical   LNG   Utility   Mining   Cement Manufacturing   Steel Manufacturing       PROBLEM SUMMARY : Corroded LNG channels   SOLUTION : Devcon’s Ceramic Repair Putty 11700 and Brushable Ceramic 11765 (Blue) was used to rebuild this ethylene process system. The surface area was sandblasted to a SP5 white metal finish and chemically cleaned using Devcon’s Cleaner Blend 300 19510. A primer coat of Brushable Ceramic Blue was applied. After one hours time Ceramic Repair Putty was applied to fill worn areas deeper than 3 mm. The Ceramic Repair Putty was smoothed using a paint brush and MEK solution. After one hours time a final coat of Brushable Ceramic Blue was applied to provide a smooth protective barrier against corrosion and erosion.                                 PROBLEM SUMMARY : Corroded separator   SOLUTION : Devcon’s Brushable Ceramic 11760 (Red) was used to coat this separator. The surface area was sandblasted to a SP5 white metal finish and chemically cleaned using Devcon’s Cleaner Blend 300 19510. Brushable Ceramic was applied in 3 coats to provide a protective barrier against corrosion.                                 PROBLEM SUMMARY : Damaged concrete floor due to chemical attack   SOLUTION : Devcon’s Ultra Quartz 13550 and Epoxy Coat 7000 AR 12750 was used to rebuild this concrete floor system damaged by HCL. The surface area was abraded to remove all lose concrete and chemically cleaned using Cleaner Blend 300 19510. Ultra Quartz was applied to rebuild the missing concrete. After one hours time Epoxy Coat 7000 AR was applied as chemical resistant coating.
